Privacy policy

Closer’s Cut collects what it needs to run your account: your email, your team's closings and agents, and settings for apps you connect.
How it's protected
Each team's data is separated at the database level. Keys for connected apps are stored apart from your other data. Only owners and admins can use them.
QuickBooks data
If a team owner or admin connects QuickBooks Online, Closer’s Cut reads the list of accounts in that company so you can choose where agent payouts are recorded. When you press “Send to QuickBooks” on a confirmed closing, we create one journal entry with each agent's take-home amount. We don't read your customers, invoices, bank transactions or reports. We don't sell or share QuickBooks data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Access tokens from Intuit are stored encrypted at rest, kept apart from the rest of your data, and used only by our servers. Disconnecting in Closer’s Cut revokes our access with Intuit and deletes the tokens. You can also disconnect from inside QuickBooks at any time.
Who we share it with
Our hosting, database and payment providers process data to run the service. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch Closer’s Cut. We don't sell personal data.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Our database provider encrypts data at rest. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored in plain text.
Deleting your data
Account owners can ask us to delete their team and every record in it. Write to support@closerscut.com.
